{"id":877,"date":"2019-09-18T13:59:44","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T12:59:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/intoaccess.com\/?p=877"},"modified":"2020-10-14T14:56:01","modified_gmt":"2020-10-14T13:56:01","slug":"2019-09-18-version-2-10-0-of-the-net2adsyncserver-is-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/intoaccess.com\/?p=877&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"2019-9-18 Version 2.10.0 of the Net2ADSyncServer is released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following features have been added\/enhanced in this new release:<\/p>\n<p>Users who are disabled in the AD can now:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be removed from Net2.<br \/>\nThis is the default setting.<\/li>\n<li>Set to &#8216;not active&#8217; in Net2.<br \/>\nThis option has the advantage that the usage history of the user will be retained.<br \/>\nUsers who are enabled again can optionally:<br \/>\nBe made active again, or be replaced by a new user.<\/li>\n<li>Be placed in a separate Net2 department, with all access rights revoked.<\/li>\n<li>Be completely ignored.<br \/>\nThis option ensures that users with a disabled AD account remain fully active in Net2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Users who no longer appear in the AD can now:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be removed from Net2.<br \/>\nThis is the default setting.<\/li>\n<li>Set to &#8216;not active&#8217; in Net2. (See above for the benefits)<\/li>\n<li>Be placed in a separate Net2 department, with all access rights revoked.<br \/>\nThis may be a different department than the one used for disabled AD users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the changes mentioned above, the &#8216;AD-Net2 Field Relation&#8217; page of the Manager application has also been revisited.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following features have been added\/enhanced in this new release: Users who are disabled in the AD can now: Be removed from Net2.
